Wolff Olins

I have left my Danish design family at Goodmorning Technology as I have been hired by Wolff Olins New York!
I will be starting my position as Senior Designer at Wolff Olins in June!

Wolff Olins is one of the leading branding and design agencies and have done incredible work for The 2012 London Olympics, New York city, (RED), Sony Ericsson, Telenor, Aol, New Museum etc.

Cannes Lions 2010

As part of the Young Creative Circle Award 2010 Robert Nagy and I will be attending Cannes Lions Advertising and Festival in France this next week. I will be a happy reunion with Cannes.

IF Award 2010

The Copenhagen Parts identity just received the coveted iF communication design award!

This year a total of 1,687 entries from 26 countries were submitted for the awards.
The Copenhagen Parts project received the Cross Media Communication Award for its iconic design across all printed matter, packaging and online media.

Creative Circle Awards 2010

This Saturday I received the Young Creative Circle Award 2010 in the design category.
This was my third shortlist in a row and the second time I won the Award.

What a party!

EcoProtein shakes

The EcoProtein brand now also features organic and fresh protein shakes.
Available in major Danish grocery markets now (Føtex, Bilka, Døgn Netto etc)
The design of course related to the other products in the product series, however the shakes comes in an ultra light environmental friendly packaging.

World Champion

Mikkel Kessler (for whom I have done identity work and EcoProtein packaging design) is once again the WBC World Champion, as he beat Carl Froch in 12 rounds this Saturday in the Super Six turnament.

I was interviewed for bureaubiz.dk as me and Robert Daniel Nagy, as Young Creative Circle Award winners, will be representing Denmark at Cannes Lions 2010 this summer.

Young Creative Circle Award Winner

Teaching Spice

Teaching the second round of the Spice Workshop at the School of Visual Comminucation, challenging the next class of students to create a unique and inspiring brand of spices. Focusing on brand development followed by great design.

Scanwood blog-hype

The new Scanwood packaging is taking a world tour on design blogs.
International blog's The Dieline's top ten packaging designs, Core77, Lovely Package, French EazyFood and Russian kAk.

I am not sure what the Russians are saying though, but hoping it's positive.

Teaching

Back in Denmark I am teaching a week long workshop(SPice Workshop) in packaging design and concept development at The School of Visual Communication.

Trinidad & Tobago

In January I will be working with design agency Above Group in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.
I will be joining them in the process of a large local identity project and an identity/signage project (whilst also enjoying the weather).

Brand New Writer

Designer toys exhibition

We, at Goodmorning Technology, were invited to take part in the Vinyl Copenhagen designer toy exhibition, with proceeds going to Danish Red Cross. All participants were given a doll to decorate, trash or make into a statement. Our contribution (we named him BoBo) is on show tonight at Karriere Bar and December – February at DAC, Danish Architecture Center.
Please come by DAC and see what he is putting on the wall and make your bid to take him home.

Widex in book again

Widex featured in another book, this time as a favorite design of Bronwen Edwards of Brandhouse, London. and Sharon Werner of Werner Design Werks.

This, to me, is one of the most innovative designs I have seen in ages.

It´s a piece of art.

Architecture sans frontieres winner!

Congratulations to Emil Hartvig, from Kontrapunkt, for making the winning proposal for the Architectes Sans Frontier logo competition in which I served as a jury member. All entries can be seen at tonights reception where we are honoring the winner(s).

Jury

I was asked to be in the jury for the logo competition for the danish division of world wide non-profit organization Architecture sans Frontieres, I’m very honored to help. Together we have send out the competition brief and we will be looking at proposals during the next couple of months.

Teaching Visual Communication

The School of Visual Communication asked Robert Daniel Nagy and I to plan a week long workshop in packaging design, we just came back from an amazing week of teaching in re-design of Denmark's national cola-hero Pepsi. Starting the week of with a (heated) discussion on the two re-designs from this year of Coca Cola and Pepsi.

Pitch winner

At Goodmorning Technology we just won Jordan Dental care, Scandinavia's biggest dental care brand, in an
international agency pitch. I just came back from our first visit at their head quarters in Oslo, Norway.
In the next months I will be working on a complete re-design of their packaging line.

Cannes Lions

As Robert Nagy and I won the Young Creative Circle Award we are going to be attending Cannes Lions to represent Denmark's leading young graphic designers.

The Widex package received yet another honorary mention, this time the packaging design was selected for the prestigious D&AD annual 2008.
